INSPIRING CHANGE - THE 9TH EQUAL FUTURES PROJECT INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY BREAKFAST
Our annual breakfast was attended by more than 500 Hunter business leaders who are committed to learning about gender inequality and how they can support diversity and inclusion in their workplaces, homes and communities.
Our 2019 speaker was one of Australia's powerhouse entrepreneurs, Jo Burston.
Jo is founder and CEO of Job Capital, founder of the entrepreneurial movement Inspiring Rare Birds, an author and mentor. In 2018 she was named in the Australian Financial Review's Women of Influence awards, and Inspiring Rare Birds was recognised in Westpac's Businesses of Tomorrow.
All proceeds from this Equal Futures Project event will go to the Hunter Women's Centre to provide services to improve the health and wellbeing of the women of the Hunter. Last year's event raised $17,000 for the Hunter Women's Centre.
We would like to thank our Major Sponsor and Event Partner, Port Waratah Coal Services, for its generous support.
We are also grateful to our corporate table sponsors.
